VEEPH at APHA
Members of VEEPH visited APHA Weybridge on 6th July for a research workshop and networking meetings. The morning session focused on surveillance policy, design and implementation whilst the afternoon gave members of both organisations the opportunity to explore shared research interests and expertise and to look at potential research collaborations and synergies. This collaborative event comes under the auspices of Dirk Pfeiffer’s role as Chief Epidemiologist at APHA under a part-time secondment, to help to strengthen the disease prevention planning and disease management capability of the agency.
