Dr Marthe Ludtmann awarded Royal Society Research Grant
Dr Marthe Ludtmann has received a Royal Society Research Grant to investigate the redox control of a mitochondrial protein that has been linked to neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease.
Marthe will employ a technology called “redox proteomics” which studies changes to proteins that are caused by cellular stress which is a common feature in neurodegenerative diseases.
