Eve is a postdoctoral research fellow working in the GCRF UKRI One Health Poultry Hub. Her work employs a range of ethnographic and qualitative research methods to explore potential risks of zoonotic disease transmission in poultry production and distribution networks across research sites in Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.

Eve has a Ph.D. in Social Anthropology from the University of Kent. In addition, she holds degrees in Ethnicity, Nationalism and Identity (MA, University of Kent) and Classical Literature and Civilisations (BA, University of Birmingham). Eve is an anthropologist with an interest in law, health and agency. Her previous work has explored the use of village courts and alternative dispute forums in Papua New Guinea, and disease experiences and perceptions in Australia. As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow for the GCRF One Health Poultry Hub, her current work explores the social conditions informing zoonotic disease transmission in poultry farms in South and Southeast Asia.
